Decided to trade my 2013 F150 with almost 50000 miles Lariat for a 2014 Lariat and wait for 2015 or probably 2016. Couldn't resist the deal. Truck had been on lot for several months, my dealer picked it up from at a dealer in next state and it had about 500 miles on clock when I received it. Noticed a shake on way home from my dealer (about 70 mile trip). Felt like possible flat spotted tires but after 1300 miles it was still just as bad. Took it and had all wheels balanced at local tire shop and still has steering wheel shake and overall shake. Still felt like flat spotted tires or bad out of balance tires to me. Its at dealer now. Anyone experienced this before? Is it Possible that tires flat spotted and will not get back to normal. It has 20's with bridgestones.

I had this same problem on a 2012 F150. I took it into the shop approx 9 times for balancing, drive shaft, new wheels, tires, rims, brakes, rotors, etc. Nothing fixed it, they eventually lemon'ed the truck and gave me a new 2013 F150 at no cost (huge pain in the behind but did work out).

Now I am 20k miles into the 2013 and the same problem is developing. I am starting the same process and expect that this is no different than the 2012 problem. I am on the second visit to the dealer...

If the truck has the OEM Pirelli's on it, I would highly suspect the tires. The only way to determine that is to have them inspected for being out of round and true. If there's a wheel (rim) that could be slight bent, you could inspect it yourself by jacking up each corner and rotating the tire slowly. If there is a significantly bent wheel (rim) you will be able to see it.

Generally, vibrations felt through the seat and floor are usually from the rear. Vibration through the steering wheel is usually from the front.
