I think it's got to be somewhere in the driveshaft or slip yoke as you suggested. I've checked tire pressures and the brake pedal and steering wheel don't vibrate under braking so I don't think it's warped rotors (I've had a lot of experience with warped rotors in other cars).
Thanks for the tips guys!

I've had a lot of people suggest lemon law to me when discussing this highway vibration. I'm assuming this is the route you are taking bj973?
When things do get settled, let us know what happens. I'm not convinced that my issue is worth getting into lemon law territory, but it is annoying; especially when you dump +/- $40,000 into a vehicle. I've never had highway vibrations in any vehicle I've owned in the past like this.

Mine does the same thing. I honestly think it is one of two things. Either the geometry of the truck is wrong (IE: its going down the road crooked), or the 157" WB frame just is not up to snuff stiffness wise for the truck due to its length.
Having gone through Lemon Law issues with Ford in regards to the low speed shudder the engineer told me that there was a re-design for the mid 2012 models that strengthened the frame and corrected the low speed shudder (axle wrap) that plagues the early 157" WB EcoBoosts. He woulod not tell me what it was and only said it would not be possible to retrofit my truck with whatever they are doing.
To the gentleman going after Ford. You will lose, do not bother pursuing it in court. Try and squeeze some money out of them for a good faith gesture to make yourself feel better and either deal with it or sell the truck.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I have first hand experience.

I recently had the truck into the shop for a shock load occurring in the driveline when accelerating from a dead stop. They said my slip yoke failed to get adequately greased at the factory. There is a known issue the was released to techs in December 2012.
After greasing the slip yoke the shock load is gone and so is the vibration. But like I said earlier the vibration may have disappeared prior to this service. If you've got the vibration, pay attention to a feeling of a shock or thunk (but not a sound, its a feeling) when you first start to move. I feel like the 2 issues could be related.

My 2013 EB shakes at 70 and higher as soon as i slow down below 70 it stops. from what I've read the driveshaft has a .110" runout that causes the shake but i have not found anyone who has had the issue resolved. I've had the truck for 3 weeks and is about to go back in for the 3rd time so we'll see how it goes.
