Vehicle order confirmation question
I got the vehicle order confirmation printout back from my dealer. After Priority, it says 10 and after Price Level it says 150. Does anyone know what these mean? It has been almost a month and he still hasn't received a VIN for me yet.

There was a thread somewhat recently where a poster explained the priority number, but I don't remember what thread it was.
And not trying to throw your thread off-topic, but what did you order?

Priority of 10 is the highest number (lowest priority) you can have for a sold order. I think that trucks built for dealer stock have priority #'s above 10 but below 20.
This is going off of memory.
The main thing is allocation. Does the dealer have it? You can enter an order in the system and it will accept it als long as you did not chose an un-buildable combination.
So if you chose a short wb, standard cab, 6.2l with a 36 gallon tank, the system will kick it back and you will not get a confirmation code.
If you chose something that is routine, such as a crew cab 4x4 xlt (very common) and enter it in the system, you can get a confirmation code EVEN WITHOUT an allocation.
All it means is that when an allocation comes for that dealer, all of his orders WITH confirmation codes will be built. STARTING WITH THE LOWEST PRIORITY NUMBER IN HIS ORDER HISTORY.
So if someone walks into the dealer and says that he will pay $5k above sticker to get his truck sooner, he will get one of the priorities higher (lower number) than you and the dealer gets the $$.
Make sense?

I don't have a VIN either and it's been since 1/4 for me. Don't get your hopes up for getting your VIN soon.
