I'll agree with that. The 5.0l is great for the average person who just runs to the lumber store, takes a quad out of the city for a ride or daily commuter. They will get better mileage in a city because they have less low end power which = less fuel in lower rpms. They get about the same mileage on the highway. If no towing is involved and power is not a concern then the 3.7l or 5.0l are awesome choices. Each is built for their own reason.
If you want a powerful tow vehicle then the Eco or 6.2l is the way to go.

Funny thing is they offered me a 5.0 with the same configuration and price as the truck I got. I simply do not need it though! I don't buy a truck to feed my ego I buy it to do a job and chose the one that does it the most efficiently.

Very much so I don't care what others drive.. Just annoying when the ecoboost guys cut down every engine when there are an abundance of problems with them as well... We use the Ecos at work and put tons of miles on them and some have issues some don't . But honestly our crew trucks running the 6.2 are bulletproof
