Default Eco's lower grill on a 5.0?

Quick question. Has anyone put the lower grill on a 5.0 behind the plate bracket?
I know the plate utilizes the same bottom tabs that the grill sits in. I could make that work. I'm just curious if it would be to far forward to still fit behind the plate.
I don't want to move my plate over. Just want to fill the open gaps on either side.
I think it would look nice, but I have a feeling it is too thick to be behind the plate bracket.
No biggie, just thinking while I was washing her.
Thanks in advance.

Yes.
I drilled small holes through the bracket, where the screws for the plate go. Added some long toggle bolts (washer and nut would work too). Put enough tension on the bolts to hold bracket and grille insert in place but enough to bend or warp either part. 3 years now and still holding up.

Huh, imagine that...I went with the ECO set-up on my 5.0L to fit boost bars. Guess I was thinking inside the box again.

I know it. I've seen that a bunch of times. While more light is never a bad thing. I'm just going the cheap route for now.
Thanks for another tip, brother.

Joe....rubbing salt in my wound isn't helping me!
Yes, I wish Ma, wasn't a revenue seeking state and I too could have a nice clean front-end.
