Default Brake noise

So, reading through here for the last year or so, I've gathered that the factory brakes are total crap... That being said, not sure if it the quality or something else wrong with mine. Mine sits all week, maybe driven to grocery store once a week, then maybe 50-??? miles in the weekend depending on what I'm doing. No matter the weather, whenever I get in for the first time, the brakes make a real crappy noise, not grinding, but running. Do they corrode quickly and cause these noises? Seems to smooth out and noises go away after a little bit. Never really had an issue stopping, it's more annoying than anything. 2013 SC Lariat 4x4 with only 33k miles- just seems weird. 2003 GMC Z71 I had before this never made these noises and sat just as much, if not more.

My previous disc brakes did the same thing. Hyundai. Instant rust grinding off.

I agree with Spiky. It sounds like rust on the rotors. Park it indoors that might slow down the rust. Scott
