I am also having the Service Advance Track light come on. When this happens the blinkers wont stay on, and under the truck apps, the wheels are shown to be turned far to the side when I am going straight (The picture does not reflect the actual position of the wheels). My windshield wipers also get stuck on the low setting and cannot be turned off for multiple restarts of the car.

Re: the blinkers not working:

The one time the AdvanceTrac error happened to me (after going through a car wash), I was able to get the blinkers to work normally again by changing the display mode. E.G. change the display from "Economy" to "Trip A/B." If I then switched it back to Economy, the blinkers would not work again.

In my case, everything went back to normal after about an hour or so. I just assumed that some sensor got wet during the wash and had to dry out.

I just started having the same problem today i took my 2011 ford f150 3.7 ecoboost to get a oil change and when i go it back my advancetrac light was on and my blinkers dont work im trying to see it ford knows this is a problem and if they have a cheaper way to fix it or do i have to pay the 2100 to fix it thank you

I finally relented, and just want my truck back. With the fix, and my new 3 year warranty (to make sure it doesn't happen again), it's $1769 plus $2300 for the 3 yr/36k warranty.

All I can say right now is OUCH. I hope this sensor problem gets fixed and recalled. I learned my lesson and will have a warranty for the rest of my truck's life. Pretty disappointed, with what had, to date, been a pretty great truck.

I've experienced many of the same issues mentioned in the thread.

Seems very problematic and potentially quite dangerous.

Wow I just bought a 2011 f150 on 9-27-15 had the light come on the next morning. And now every time I make a turn with the wheel all the way turn led the light comes on. I will call the dealer I bought it from and see if they will either fix this issue or I will just get my car back and give them the truck back.

I can't have a truck that has this issue and will cost me thousands to fix the problem. I am very worried about what the dealer is going to say tomorrow

So the dealer has the truck and will be taking it to the ford dealer to have them look at it and see what the problem is. They have me in a rental and so far everything is going good as far as them taking care of me and the sales guy said what ever they find they will fix.

Now as long as what I said happens I just hope what ever they find is the fix and it never comes back. I will update this thread with what they find and if it fixes it or not.

So my issue is the sensor in the rack and it's on order, they have to replace the rack and do a alignment. I should have it back in 5 days. Total time with no truck a week, bought the truck used with no warranty. I had the truck for 2 days and this issue came up and I am sure was already there before I bought it.

I have been beyond lucky the dealer is fixing the issue and put me in a rental.

I too have recently started experiencing the same problem! 2011 5.0L with 89,000kms. When in for oil change today and mentioned it to the service manager. He acted like he never heard of the problem before! I'm out in the country and this dealer sells a lot of trucks so I don't think I believe him. Sure enough, few hours later got the call that they need to replace the steering gear (claims its the same as the steering rack). Not sure of cost yet but not part of the 100,000km/5yr warranty still on the truck!! I called Ford Canada and they also claimed to never of heard about it!!!
