Default TXAG07's Ride...... The beginning

Here are some pics of what will be installed on my truck this Friday. I will be sure to update with pics as soon as it is done.

285/60/20 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs
BMF Death Metal Novakanes- 20x9, 0 Offset
Readylift 1.5" Aluminum Leveling Kit

I wanted to put the new Toyo AT 2's on my truck, but thought the 275/60 and 275/65 weren't aggressive enough and thought the 285/55 extreme's would provide a harsh ride with the small aspect ratio. I was a lot to swallow to pay the extra coin for the Duratracs, but just from seeing them, they are well worth it. The size is perfect for a leveled truck and they are way more aggressive than I thought they would be. They look just as aggressive as my old Nitto Trails did, but are lighter, and will hopefully be quieter. They are an inch taller than the 285/55 AT's and weight the same at 59 lbs each. The details on the tread are spectacular (never seen that much detail in between the treads on a tire before) and the sidewalls look mean. I actually thought the sidwalls looked cheesey in pics but in person they rock.

I bought the Readylift 1.5" based on a recommendation from Deseret Dawg. I didn't even know this kit existed until he told me about it. I wanted to maintain some rake without adding something to the rear. Although some people like their trucks "level" I prefer more rake since the fender wells are different sizes and sometimes a leveled truck appears to be high in the front even though it is actually lower. Hopefully this does the trick. The only thing I don't like about this kit is it requires you to shave off part of the stock coil studs for fitment. I really don't like that, but it is what it is.

Good looking truck.

I ran readylift spacers on a previous truck. It was garbage. It gave the desired appearance but at the cost of destroying the ride quality as it felt like I had no suspension. Every tiny bump in the road became a big 'THUNK!'

Thanks man

Well..... hopefully this new product isn't garbage. I really haven't heard many negatives on Readylifts products. Maybe yours was defective or something happened during install. I chose to have a shop install it so if anything isn't right, I'll be sure it gets taken care of.

I just had the 5100s put on at the 2.25 setting and no thinks or rough ride, it is a little firmer but it made it more sporty.

I can't wait to get my tires, I'm going With the same ones! It will look good.

Those wheels are going to look great on your black truck.
