that implies that you already fought with Ford and your dealer for a while, decided that it was going nowhere, and decided to take them to court. That costs a lot of time, money and is far from a guaranteed win. Some make it sound like this good old Magnusson law is the end of it all, the mighty combination of the Bible and Holy Water against the evil dealer, the "get out of jail free" card, "just mention it and the dealer will fix whatever is broken"... It's not, that's all I'm saying.
I went to small claims court here against a dealer, I had facts and reports from an expert, but no eye witness. He had a service tech (the "expert"), and Wikipedia (not even kidding). I got fu**ed bad, so you can understand why I dont really trust the court system when it comes to aftermarket modifications.

Like I said, our neighbors up north get boned coming and going, you assume Ford is actually going to let a case go to court, trust me they do not want that kind of publicity.

If you go in for warranty work and your running after market down pipes, intercooler, exhaust.... not only can those possibly void your warranty but they will definitely dig deeper.
