I've been looking and looking and was wondering what everyone is using for a tuner, or what would be the best tuner for my truck. I've got an 2009 lariat with the 5.4 v8 haven't done anything other than a leveling kit and put on 315/70/17 from my stock 275/65/18. i wanna just be able to tune to get back some gas milage, i know i should prob do a CAI to help too. (plan on that soon) also was wondering what aftermarket headlights people recommend that aren't an arm and a leg for price. prefer to get projectors as i wish to run HIDs soon. thanks in advance for the help.

Is there a certain tuner from sct that works better for an 09 with the 5.4L

All sct tuners have the same tunes on it, just depends on what look u want. But, w/ the SCT products, there are tons of Shops that u can buy a Custom Tune from. This gives better performance n drivability over a canned tune that comes preset in a tuner.

I've been looking like crazy for decent headlights as well. I think I'm just going to break down and buy a set of FX4 and do my own projector conversion on them, factory ones are over $1000, ugly led filled ebay ones are close to $5-600 by the time you finish them out. I'd rather just put a good OEM projector in the housing and be done with it. Had I test drove this truck at night I never would have bought it. I would have gone to the XLT w/ projectors at the very least.

My truck is stock other than new tires and wheels with a 2" lvl kit. What would be a recommended tune from SCT? Eventually gonna do a CAI so I'm probably gonna do the lifetime tunes
