Exclamation Tsb 14-0134

I just started noticing this in the last week . . .

its a growling/moaning/rubbing noise when shifting from drive to park (most often)....
and sometimes when from park to drive.

Its a model with the floor shifter. Its annoying me now.

I did see a part of the TSB posted in a PDF, but it was on a smartphone view, and it wasn't the whole PDF.

It did say is involved the 6R80 transmission. I have a '14 Ecoboost.

Anyone privy to the TSB PDF?

Mine just had the TSB done, I don't have the paperwork back yet, since they are still waiting on an evap for the manure smell in the AC. Once they have that complete, I should have the TSB info and will post it.

Great! Report back with the details. Wondering if this TSB will fix this noise.

Depends on the transmission build date as to what gets replaced, either the main valve body or a separator plate.

CL3Z-7Z490-C Main Control Valve Body Separator Plate (Built Between 8/1/2013 - 2/28/2014)

FL3Z-7A100-E Main Control Assembly (Built Between 3/1/2014 - 3/15/2014)

FL3Z-7Z490-E Main Control Valve Body Separator Plate (Built Between 3/16/2014 - 7/14/2014)

The transmission identification is tag located on the transmission case. It is in mm/dd/yy format, the numbers are located in between two bar codes, second set of numbers.

Default Tsb 14-0134

I have a November 2013 build. I haven't experienced that issue yet, but I appreciate 'Rnlcomp' for posting that tsb.
Nothing like being armed with the information, if it should occur.
Thanks man.

What transmission would a 2014 Regular Cab Ecoboost have (Tremor). 6 speed?

Its definitely got a "growl" when shifting. more from drive to park.

found this on a ford website. So, guess it is the tranny involved.

The "GROWL" noise is hard to tell where its coming from. It in a way sounds like its in the console geat shifter, its more pronounced when you shift from drive to park. It just started doing this in the past week.

Of course, only about 800 miles to date.

I think I have the SLIP/BUMP issue as well (the one where the splines aren't greased well)... sometimes when coming to a stop (not an abrupt stop), I get this harsh bang in what appears like the rear axle. Don't think you really call that a "harsh downshift", because I'm almost already stopped. Annoying as hell.
***********2 piece driveshaft************

Wasn't that 12-7-13 TSB?

Based off my VIN #, does the OASIS system actually list TSB's that apply to my truck?

TSB's are listed by specific symptoms for various vehicles, there is no smoking gun report all, when oasis is run one must enter a specific concern and then it will feed back any/all TSB's and special service messages for that symptom.
