There is a lot of negative hype about the vinyl wraps, if you go with a reputable brand (3m), you will not have any issues. The backing has an air release grid on it and is almost foolproof except for areas with compound curves, then its just a bit of practice and you will be fine. They even have a knifeless tape that has a filiment in it for cutting the vinyl so you dont have to take a blade to the vehicle area anymore. I did this install myself, it is the 3m 1080 black carbon fiber with the grill and valance in the 1080 brushed stainless steel vinyl. I ordered the vinyl online from a site that I use a lot and the material for this ran about $350. What you guys think?
