Nah, I won't be touching the new gens for at least 2-3 years while ford works out the bugs. Last time I bought into a new model 2011 Ford it didn't work out so well lol.

I've made my decision already. I'm pretty much fed up, so it's time for it to head down the road. I'm a believer in second chances but this was my truck's 22nd chance or so..lol. I'll probably miss it, but I won't miss the trouble it has been causing me.

So after all of this colossal bitching, and hassle your going to reward Ford by buying another one????

There is NO way i would be buying another Ford unless they were buying the truck back from me, or doing something else substantial to make it right for all the issues with the current truck...

Good luck, man. IF it were me, I'd be seriously tempted to take it to the Yota dealer and trade it in on a Tundra.

No. That's one of the reasons why it's going away. Dealer said "No issue found" so that's a nightmare I'm not willing to pursue anymore. I've lost all patience.

Thanks for the advice guys. I just can't stay away from the F-150 because I think as a product it's fantastic. Plus, getting a new F-150 is the only way I can afford this. $41k for a brand new loaded truck can't be matched by any other truck right now, as far as features for the money go. I have a feeling I'll have less problems with a 2013 and one with the 5.0 engine.

Honestly all the truck companies including Toyota can match a loaded truck for 41k. The new Silverados and Sierras are being discounted nicely, the RAMs are, the Titans obviously due to old design, and the new Tundras already have 3-4k off. But you with all those problems should not be going back to Ford period. You will be in here a few weeks complaining again.

Sweet, dad is bailing you out! SMDH

Maybe you should stick with a beater and learn to appreciate it before going to buy another $45,000 truck! Lol

I say listen to your dad.
