Just read the whole thread....and JESUS CHRIST people are ****ing stupid.

HardCore I hope you get your truck fixed. Other than my condensation issue my truck has been great. Funny you mention the 2014 GMC Sierra. It's the only other truck I would consider too, but they are way too expensive right now.

My truck has been in twice for warranty work. Both times I was treated with respect. Second time I demanded a rental car on their dime and they said "Sure...no problem."

I too have the speaker rattle problem but I think I'm outside of my 3yr/36k mile warranty (37k miles) so I'll just live with it. Also the rear sliding window rattles and squeaks when its cold. Great truck so far. Excellent MPG's. It's a beast in the mountains out here. Tow's my 05 Jeep LJ like a boss too.

Sucks that all this crap is happening to ya Eric... it seems like they are putting near no effort to try to keep you as a loyal customer. You spend a good amount of your harx earned money, and it seems like its just a "meh" situation to them.

Thanks for the contribution. I have the rear window squeak, speaker still rattles and I have a nasty passenger door rattle (I should take a video for you guys, it's comical). I'm at 59,500km now, 500km away from the end of my bumper-bumper warranty. Trying to drive it as little as possible to avoid the headache. I sense expensive bills coming up.

Well my good friend Joey, I'm actually quite happy with my dealer. I will continue business with them as they were courteous and tried hard to cover everything. Also, there's a good chance I will be working there in the future. Prompt...they were not, but that's a Ford entity. My Focus took 2 weeks to get a new PCM put in at a different dealer. With that said, here's what I'm NOT happy with:
  • My truck itself. Total, complete POS, and it sucks that I can't afford a new one at the current market value of mine vs the price of a new one (Not unless FoMoCo of Canada offers me a decent trade value on a shiny new FX4, **WINK WINK**)
  • Ford of Canada. My CSM is friendly and good to talk to, but I've talked to her 3 times and have basically told her what I know. This may be because I haven't reached a situation yet where I need some push from a higher power, a la FoMoCo Corporate. Once I start talking to her about getting me out of my truck she'll either become less useful or more useful (**WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE**) So, Stay tuned. I really, really want out of this truck. I love the F-150 itself and would love to have a different one. I need a reliable vehicle and reliable my truck is not...

I will indeed. It annoys me when a hardworking and deserving person gets screwed over by other people and aome of the worst luck I've seen.

I know one lady around where I lived got screwed over and the dealer refused to help her. She then in turned got a clown costume and a basket of lemons and went to the dealer. She then paraded out front with a sign that said "we sell lemons" didn't take long becore the dealer finally cooperated!

Kinda have a lemon law, Look it up

Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP)

Almost one-third of arbitration cases in 2009-’10 involved Chrysler vehicles, including Dodge, Jeep and Ram models. With only 13 per cent market share in Canada at the time, Chrysler was overrepresented in hearings, while Ford and General Motors had representations more in line with their market shares.

Many more Canadians are eligible for a hearing, as long as the vehicle is no more than five model years old and has travelled fewer than 160,000 km. The U.S. eligibility limit is generally three years and 50,000 km.

Unhappy index

Here’s how the major automakers ranked in terms of total market share and their percentage of CAMVAP arbitration hearings with owners in 2010.

Chrysler: 13.1 per cent of market share, 32 per cent of arbitration cases

Ford: 17.2, 15

General Motors: 15.8, 14

Nissan: 5.3, 8

Toyota: 11, 6

Honda: 9.1, 5

Kia: 3.5, 4
