Of the GM offerings, I like the GMC All Terrain package the best too. Haven't seen the new interiors in person yet, but the GMC looks better on the outside over the Chevy. Be interesting to hear your impressions.

I think I might stop in today. The guy my dad has done GM deals with for years is at the dealership just down the road. I'll probably just pop in and have a looksie, maybe a drivesie. I'm sure the 2014's are too expensive right now though.

I have finally become unbiased and open to different truck options due to my predicament. I see the competitors in a completely different light.

Square wheel wells......Just saying. (Even more pronounced in the 2014s)

They don't look too out of place. They're growing on me. They do make the stance look a little bit bigger, but they're still a bit goofy. I'm just looking at options, so far the GMC is the only other truck I'd consider owning. My dad's company runs a fleet of Fords and GM's that are all flawless.

Just as a reminder to those that haven't taken the time to read through this lengthy thread, before you join the pile-on, be aware that the OP had modified/lifted his truck and put on bigger tires. Frankly I'm surprised you even convinced your dealer to troubleshoot your suspension issues under warranty.

I had suspension issues? News to me.

I actually really liked the interior of the new Sierras. They drive really nice too... I wasn't able to romp on it, so I can't accurately rate the power. If I were in the market for another truck, I'd probably go that route. The all terrain package is sweet!

Stir the pot why don't you. Bigger tires? C'mon. Our new F350 came with 245's for God sakes, which is strictly for MPG. You're going to tell me that they shouldn't honor a warranty because he put on bigger tires? That's disappointing.

Exactly. It's an FX4 offroad package with skid plates and a locking diff. Putting on those garbage Scorpions from the factory is laughable.

So let's summarize, shall we? The dealer obviously found that my basic modifications (which are done by about 75% of other members on this forum with zero issues) weren't the cause of the issue, thus being a defective OEM part and was therefore covered under warranty.
