Rear end click happens anywhere for me. Yours will get worse to the point where it will wake up the neighbourhood like mine, I'd get it looked at now.
Get your tuner to decrease the line pressure for shift points, this may resolve your issue. I'm assuming you're removing the tune prior to this?

I have shackles and pinion shims installed on my truck and im willing to bet they say something about it before attempting to fix the rear end click issue

Truck has been stock for about 3 weeks now. I was using the SCT canned tune and hard shifts went away while the trans was re-learning but are now back. Don't want to create more of a headache for myself with the tune installed.

One issue I am actually NOT having is the CAC misfire..Strange.

Sorry to hear all the crap you're going through and i how you get it all fixed.

Can't say I'd swear off of a brand due to their service/warranty though. I mean you can do what you want. But if i were like that, there wouldn't be any manufacturers left whom i would buy from. I've had trouble with Chevy, VW, and Honda. Both warranty and service! And i worked for the Chevy/Ford dealer!

I have the steering knock/rattle since purchase on my 2009 (currently @ 18,000 km) which was looked at but never resolved when it was under warranty. In my case the rattle is worse as the weather gets colder. It is particularly annoying because it can be heard and felt in the steering wheel which is the primary driver input to the vehicle. Any noise, vibration or rattle felt here degrades the driving experience, especially in a new vehicle. I am particularly interested in seeing if you get a resolution to this extremely annoying problem. Doing a Google search, it seems this problem has been an owner complaint that goes back a few years at least to the Gen before our trucks.

“If the only issue I had was the steering knock, I'd probably still hate this thing as much as I do now.”

I couldn’t agree more with this statement. Good luck on at least getting this one issue fixed. Watching & hoping for a fix.

Wish you the best my friend... When I brought my truck in to my local dealer for a transmission reflash they somehow managed to fry my PCM and had to order a new one out the States. Basically, they broke my "driveable" truck, wouldn't provide me a ride home because "I lived to far away (20km)", and wanted me to pay $80 a day for a rental vehicle for the 10+ days it would take to get my truck back. I complained to Ford Canada in an email and got the response "We at Ford Canada believe the level of customer support was adequate". All in all, I got no compensation for the worst customer support I've ever experienced, and a truck that is getting another tranny reflash next oil change.

That apparently is the difference between sending an email to Ford of Canada and talking to the CSM on the phone. I have high hopes for my customer service when I talk on the phone with the CSM. Guys on here have had good results when they go through FordService on the forum and deal with the CSM. So I'm going to hold all judgement until I hear what they have to say.

Someone told me that the email responses from Ford of Canada are automated. I got the same response as you many times when I complained about my truck over a year and a half ago, when I was having the same issues that I am now.

Yes. If any other issues arise in the future those will be the steps I take. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

That being said, it isn't always easy for a 19 year old to walk in and give 50 year old adults the gears and be taken seriously... Hopefully that bad experience will be my last.

I'm 18, haha. I get no leeway even when I know what I'm talking about. I ask them to install the new DL series steering rack and they look at me like I'm an idiot. Very irritating. Very irritating indeed.

Truck dropped off. Going for a beer (I have a cab!) Never thought owning such a new vehicle would be so stressful.
