I could never afford a new raptor..they top out at $67k in Canada. I'd love to have one..I'd do something cool like turn it into a Platinum or King Ranch Raptor!
Next truck If the repairs don't work out will be a '13 FX4 5.0L or Eco (haven't decided, maybe I should make a thread about deciding between the two?
) black or white. Can't bring myself to switch brands. I just want a reliable version of my 2011 but with cool new stuff like MFT and butt coolers, Lol!

Following this, and hoping for the best. I don't understand though, how the same guy can say "tomorrow, we will investigate the noise from the front" and also say "your truck will be ready tomorrow". I really hope they take care of you, I'm just very skeptical. My last endeavor with a service advisor (albeit not a Ford one) was horrific. It was a handful of small issues, and it took 8 trips to the dealer to get it all sorted out. Hopefully they will handle your issues better, but mine was just throwing parts at the problem (a CEL caused by a EVAP leak) until it went away. Thankfully they backed down on charging me after the first visit when I told them if the solution was to throw parts at it until the problem was fixed, I could do that in my driveway for 1/3 of the cost (this was being done after warranty expired).

I decided to make a thread for my warranty repair due to the controversy with Ford Service as of late. This trip for warranty repair is pretty much the deciding factor of whether or not I keep the truck (I've already made the decision that I want it gone, but whether I will be able to financially is the real question). Right now, I'll list off the things that need to be repaired.
I will keep this thread updated with progress and/or discrepancies, and what the resolution is. Stay tuned.

Really hope Ford pulls through for me.
A couple suggestions. One, don't go to a dealer with a ridiculously long list of problems, some of which are borderline laughable (Rear 110v socket doesn't hold a plug? It's a standard socket, what you do want them to do?). You will automatically get labeled as impossible to satisfy. Second, for the love of God, aftermarket mods like suspension lifts and tunes are grounds for voiding warranties of related parts, like hard shifts and steering rack issues.
In case anyone missed it, aftermarket mods like suspension lifts and tunes are grounds for voiding warranties of related parts, like hard shifts and steering rack issues.

I cannot understand this thinking. A two year old truck, bought new, and trade it in on the same make?? Maybe if I could do it for no extra money, but that's the only way. That's the reason I'm in my F150 now, previous Chevy was having so many problems, I changed brands. Oh me, these issues drive us crazy!
