Default Truck is going in this afternoon, progress thread

I decided to make a thread for my warranty repair due to the controversy with Ford Service as of late. This trip for warranty repair is pretty much the deciding factor of whether or not I keep the truck (I've already made the decision that I want it gone, but whether I will be able to financially is the real question). Right now, I'll list off the things that need to be repaired.

I will keep this thread updated with progress and/or discrepancies, and what the resolution is. Stay tuned.

Really hope Ford pulls through for me.

Subscribed. I'm interested. This is my first Ford. It will be my last if my dealer ever give me issues like many describe.

I have already decided on the warranty process alone, this will be my last Ford. My rear end was fixed with new bearings, axle seals, and oil slinger.
Very much dislike the process of fords warranty with the digital imaging and so many denials.

Ok Hard Core!! I am interested with most of your repairs also as I have the same issues! Not only am I interested in your experience but also what in the Hell they did to fix the issues. I honestly haven't gone to the dealer to have any of the items looked at as it seems most still are having problems after the TSB or Fix has been applied so I am hoping you will have some good awaited new to post. I have to get an oil change soon so if you make out and are happy I will call my dealer and have them order what is needed to do all of the listed items!

I've had these issues for over a year. It's just such a PITA to get any extensive work done because Ford won't give me a rental (I'm under 21) and the cab voucher they provide only qualifies within city limits, I live well outside of the city. I had to cancel a quading trip this weekend since I was planning on hauling my quad with my pickup.

Also, "Check braking system" came up on the screen about 30 minutes ago, I can't hear the vacuum pump. FML.

I'm having issues with the steering or front suspension on mine also. I've had it in for repair twice and they told me each time that they can't figure out what the issue is and to drive it until something breaks. I'm fed up with mine also and I'm ready to trade it for a new VW TDI SUV.

sorry to hear bro. A couple of those problems wouldnt be a deal breaker for owning a ford IMO. Rear plug, easy fix. Door Speakers, stock **** stank anyway. Hard shifts, adjust with tune.

Rear end click, i have it on my '13 5.0. Only happens when im on an incline/decline i find.
Steering knock, brb waiting for them to blame the leveling kit. Is it servicable? Zerk fittings for grease gun?

The hard shifts and acceleration noise were worse with the SCT tune I had. Every time I put my foot into it to pass someone on the highway it slams HARD from 6th to 5th. The rear plug and door speaker stuff isn't that big of a deal, but the steering knock and rear end click is a HUGE issue for me. If I have to remove the aftermarket struts and tires to get them to fix it, then I will. I want it fixed or I want it gone, I drive frequently on rough roads and the steering knock is going to be the end of me. If the only issue I had was the steering knock, I'd probably still hate this thing as much as I do now.

Rear end click happens anywhere for me. Yours will get worse to the point where it will wake up the neighbourhood like mine, I'd get it looked at now.
