Default Truck found

It's got a call from the cops and truck was found! Everything perfect, didn't steal anything but my extra key that was stored in the console so now they have a key to my truck ;( truck was found around the corner from my house and had been parked there since the morning it was stolen, not sure what to do, I'moving at the end of the month so if I can hold them off till then hopefully they won't know where I live, unless they see the truck around town? Not sure what to think

First off, glad your truck was found ...

Second, I'm super glad for you that it's in the exact same condition it was when you last saw it ...

That said, that's STRANGE as can be that they took it, drove it just around the block (in a manner of speaking) ... then abandoned it w/out taking ANYTHING other than your spare key.

Of course, I'd have the door key code changed, and get new keys to the truck (and I'd push really hard to have the insurance company pay for that work)...

Hope it all works out in the end for ya ...

did they steal the truck from your house? if so, they already know where you live? this was reported to the cops and they didn't see it "around the corner"? how do you know it's been there since the morning it was stolen?

I'd be more concerned if you have your automatic garage door opener codes stored in that truck? Easy way to break into a place! Wait until the people are gone, open garage door and clean you out……. or worse.
