Default Trimming for bigger tires..

Just thought I would share they way , I trimmed for bigger tires. In the past people have cut a pretty big hole in there front wheel wells so the tire doesn't rub I didn't like that . I just drilled a small hole in the wheel well plastic and put a zip tie through the hole to a small square bracket by your running board and pulled tight as i could, this gets it enough out of the way so you don't have to cut a big hole, plus you don't even know it's there . As for the front I just had to do a little trimming on the valance, but nothing serious .
Hope this will help people out who are trying to decide to get bigger tires .I know this may not work for all. I will also included pics, if anyone else wants to share or just post pics of your truck please do.

Love the AMP Boards. Took me a bit to decide to invest, but well worth it. So much more functional then factory boards. My wife really appreciates them too!

Don't have any current pics, but just drilled a couple of holes to run the zip tie thru and zipped it back to one of the plug holes in the bottom frame.

Good idea, thanks for sharing. I just lifted & was looking for trimming ideas before I got out the knife. Was thinking of something similar, but yours is low tech & easy to implement. I'll give it a shot. Thx
