Looks like just a short dip stick. I wonder why they decided to make it so short. Mabe to save money.

Ya not sure I happened to see a few people complaining there was no way to check so I went through the manuals

Default tranny fluid

stupid question i know but what is the best was to check the transmission fluid in my 08 f150 xl 4.6 i checked it first thing in the morning after letting it warm up for about 5 minutes some help would be nice

Mine is an 08 and has a dipstick you can get by popping the hood
