Don't go with aftermarket. Buy the Ford factory one. You can get it from Tasca on this forum for under $200 and a easy install guide from previous posts. Just search the forum.
The Ford controller will also work I'm stride with your factory Anti-Sway control, the after markets will not.

Plus the factory part will be integrated into your info screen.

Not hard at all, plug and play, the only thing you will have to do after installing is to go to the dealer to have it activated in the computer.

Go with the factory controller. it is called the INTEGRATED trailer brake controller for a reason. There are several threads on how to add this to the 2009 and 2010, 2011 should be the same.

I just picked up the controller from my local dealer for under $100.00 and it took less than 20 minutes to install. Still haven't had a chance to go to the dealer and have the computer flashed.

It was Tousley Ford in White Bear Lake, MN. It was like $95 or $97. If you go onto ford parts dot com retail on the controller is around $145. But if you enter your zip code you can select a local dealer and it will show what they will sell it to you for. When I did it for Tousley it said something like $107, went in there to order it and he said he could do better than that. Basically told me anything I want they will sell it to my for 10% over cost. I'll actually have less invested in the factory controller than I did for the aftermarket one in my old truck. I know you can order stuff directly off fords part website from them or from any dealer you select. Good luck!
