Trailer battery charge Fuse
I don't know what else to call it.....hahaha
My last Ford had to have a fuse or relay installed so that it would charge the battery on my cabin trailer as I drove.
I have a new FX4 and I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what I had to add???
Thanks for the help.

How about "trailer towing battery charge"?
There are two you need to install, both in the power distribution box under the hood (as opposed to the fuse box in the passenger foot well). In position #9 goes the trailer towing battery charge relay and in position #21 goes the 30 amp trailer towing battery charge relay power fuse.
Both the fuse and relay should have been in a plactic bag in the glove box or somewhere in the new truck, unless your dealer installed them as part of his prep.

2011 F150 no trailer power
I have read many posts and my manual. I have all the wiring at the 7 pin end but in the fuse box #21 only has 1 pin for the fuse. Does this mean the wiring is not connected to the fuse box? Any ideas? Thanks. This is my first post.
Maybe a jumper from the #9 relay to the #21 fuse?
operator error. I put the fuse in the wrong place. I was misreading the chart on top of the fuse box.
