Default Trail Grapplers on a 2014 FX4

I've been lurking around here for a while and have read plenty and learned a lot but I cant seem to get a concrete answer so here goes...

I just bought a loaded 2014 FX4 Screw with the appearance package. I am not a fan of the stock tires and am 99% set on Nitto Trail Grapplers but will keep the stock 20 inch black rims.

With everything stock what is the largest set of Trail Grapplers I can put on with zero rubbing?...trimming the inside fender doesnt bother me too much but if I go offroad or hit any kind of real bump I dont want to bash the tire into everything.

And if I add a 2 inch level what size then?... a friend who has the same setup in a 2013, went with 305/55/R20 Trail Grapplers, a 2 or 2.5 inch level, and still had a lot of rubbing so he had to go with spacers which I really dont want to use.

I was thinking either the LT295/60/R20 which the Nitto site says are 12.13 inches wide or the LT295/55/R20 which are 12.52 inches wide(which doesnt make sense to me, shouldnt they be smaller than 12.13?)...that size would be ideal but I feel like that wouldnt fit completely stock

295/60/20 trail grap measures 12.3 wide and 34.4 tall on a 9 inch wheel
305/55/20 12.6 wide and 33.9 tall

you would have the least problems with the taller and less wider tire IMO

I prefer the look of the bigger ~35" tire over the 305/55 which is a ~34X12.5. IMO, the perfect size for your truck with a level is the 295/60. It's a little skinnier than the 305/55, but I dig that look and the weight difference is huge when talking 3/4" of width difference. A lot of guys on this forum run this size without problems. Good luck

For reference, here is the 295/60R20 Trail Grappler setup on stock 20's with a 2" level. I only rub at full lock on the UCA:

Looking at the Nitto site right now....

the 295/60/r20....the overall width says 12.13 inches, where are you getting 11.6 inches from?

And I really like the look of your truck il duce but it worries me about any sort of rubbing on the UCA,

If I went with zero lift and stayed stock what's the largest size I could go up to, with zero rub?

If I went with a 2 inch lift and kept everything else stock what's the largest size I could go up to, with zero rub?
