Price for 2013 F-150 FX4
Was a member here for a couple of years...had a 2009 and 2011 (EcoBoost), but for some reason decided I didn't need to be a man any longer and sold them off.
Since I sold the 2011 in 2012 I have had several vehicle, including the sports sedan I'm driving right now. Shocker, I am wanting to get back into a F-150 and have been looking around. I was initially looking at a 2014 SCREW XLT with leather and HID's, but two of the dealerships each have a 2013 FX4 (both with the same options; sunroof, NAV, 20" Aluminum Wheels, tailgate Step) the only difference is one is a 5.0 and the other Eco. I've owned both and know the pro and cons for each, and think I would be happy with either. Also, both are still on the lot new vehicles (not sure on the mileage though).
The sticker for the Eco is around $51,170 and right at $50,000 for the 5.0. What would in everyone's mind be a good deal for either of these vehicle's?
I have found some 2014's XLT's like I want online and you can get $9,000-10,000 off MSRP all day long. So how much does being a year older model discount it, I know one has a June 2013 build date, so it is almost a year old.
Thanks, and hopefully I can make a deal on something and come back on this forum for all the good advice.

Write a check for $42k, walk into the dealership and grab a salesman, take them out to the vehicle, hand them the check and ask "yes or no", then either you just bought one, or just be like okay thanks and leave them your number and start off home. You will get a call.

I was thinking/hopping to get around 12-14,000 off MSRP since it is a '13 and almost a year old...seeing as how that is only 2-4,000 less than a 2014 is going for. Maybe I'm just in a fantasy world. I will probably go and talk to both and see where they are at.
I did request a brochure from Ford, like I should had done with my prior f-150 purchases and may luck out with another rebate to tack on.
Yanki01; your truck looks nice...it looks like you bought yours in January and were able to get about $11,000 off, maybe being five months later i'll have the same luck. Thanks.

as we keep going into the year and if there's still 2013's listed as NEW on the lot, the rebates should be getting higher and higher. If you want the deal, you will have to fight with them. no way around it, they won't give you the deal unless you're a sucker and say yes at the first amount they give you. you may have to walk out or say no a few times if they don't work with you.

These are pretty well the SAME incentives that were going on with 2013's back in January when I bought mine. (PS, the screen shot is for '13 models I believe, although it says 14.... I went back to the '14 incentives, and those aren't there......regardless, these are the '13 rebates that were in Jan 14 for the 13's)
Part of that is trade in assistance and finance with Ford Credit.
At this point, the dealer should be offering more "dealer discounts", some of which are way below invoice, but differs by dealer and their willingness to move it.
XLT trim level in the scab and screw gets the most factory incentives.

For 47k, you can have my 2014 FX4 with the 6.2L. The power of the Ecoboost, but the sound of the V8. It also has the FX appearance package and lux package. Only 2 weeks old. I'm also throwing in all kinds of accessories and even a $450.00 SCT Tuner with preloaded 5 Star Custom tunes.
