Oh, and one other thing I discovered today.......the rear headrests have this little button on the side to fold them down. When no one is sitting back there, you don't have to see them in the rear view mirror all the time!

Looks familiar!! Traded my 2011 for this 14 a few weeks ago! Congrats on your purchase!! I just did a two day run into Chicago for work pulling an enclosed and after 24 hours running in the rain my ecoboost still runs!!! Lol! Funny how that is!

Looks VERY familiar..........I wanted a truck with the 18" wheels though so I could transfer over my nearly new Michelin LTX MS2's. If you tow a lot, you simply cannot beat 10 plys for directional stability on the highway.

Well, I tow more then the average guy. That pic is one of 3 trailers I have. Largest is 28ft car hauler. My 2011 tow it better then expected. Haven't towed it yet with the 2014. I do have air lift bags I took off my 2011 and put them on the 2014 to keep her level.

Were both Max Tows? If not, you will love the 3.73's on your new one for towing a heavier load.

When not towing and at highway speeds, I love how the rpm's with the 3.73's keep the truck in 6th gear on almost any grade. No down shifting makes for a nice relaxing drive -- especially with that new SOUNDSCREEN windshield keeping everything else so nice and quiet.

Our old 5.4 was often down into 4th gear on hills the EB pulls in 6th...I love that about the EB! Just turn up the boost and pull the hill....

But then again.......towing in Iowa is a bit different experience than towing in the Rockies.....

Couldn't agree more. My 2011 wasn't a max tow but did have 3:73 rear end. On this last 2 day run my truck never dropped out of sixth gear. It blows my mind how well it holds speed with out down shifting even while towing.

Indeed..........and to think its only 213 cubic inches........and the 2.7 liter EB in the 2015's is going to tow 8,500 pounds with only 164 cubic inches!!!
That is more than amazing, isn't it? Just think what an engine that size could do 10 or 15 years ago --- it would have needed to do much of anything.

I could wait in the garage before shifting into reverse and it would come on, but if I started it and immediately shifted into reverse and backed out..........nothing....are you sure you are not letting it idle for a bit? The camera would then come right on........
nope! It comes on instantly all the time. I asked my sister who has a 2010 and a co worker with a 2011 and they have never experienced this either.

Nice looking f-150.
The Rough spot feeling on these new Vehicles may be RAIL DUST?
My 2012 had it & my 2013 ford Edge had it. I take them to my Car Wash guy & he takes care of it. Very common thing.
You are correct about everything you said. The Transmission is a lot smoother on my 2014 Lariat than my 2012 FX4.
The Camera comes on right away & My Sirius Lady is noticeably quicker on Commands.
