Traded our 2012 for a 2014 today, and am very happy.

Here she is all clay barred and Collinited...hard to believe how much crud there is in a new paint job when you run your hand over it. Not the surface is beyond glass smooth and shiny.......I love my 845!
Although this interior color is available with other exterior colors, I do think that this combination is simply stunning and elegant........thoughts?

Haven't waxed my truck yet 'cus I wanted to ensure paint was fully cured (maybe no need to wait w/ modern finishes) but its garaged most of the time and won't be outside unless driven locally or on trips. Even so, I have an appt for PPF to be applied tomorrow morning 80 miles south of here (no such talent in my small town). I have until 9am to decide whether to choose 3M Pro or SunTek film. Cost for 3M Pro is quite a bit higher but has 7 vs 5 yr mfr warranty. Will wax painted surfaces soon after...

That's a beautiful exterior/interior color combo! Hmmm, clay bar & Collinite 845...

And of course the big brown 4 X 4 on the rear of the bed was also peeled off. So nice to see the whole side of the truck nice and visually clean. Seems to me like when that sticker is there, that's where you eyes go and that is all I can see. A few seconds with a hair dryer and ppfffffttt....GONE!

No, I did not get the max payload option.......with the 2014 factories shut down, you take what you get...........I count myself lucky to have found the exact truck I was looking for............but I would have taken one gladly with the HD payload option as well.

what kind of mileage did you get on your way home with that setup. I have 13 max tow EB long box as well.

I've thought about changing my screen name since I got rid of my Sterling Grey F-150...........probably not going to be goldmember though --- it did make me LOL!
I know that the mods can change your name and keep your posts........so I'll have to think of something and make that request.....any other suggestions?
