I have gotten lucky to find a few dealers here in San Antonio that are really into leveled and modded trucks. One has offered about 3000 more than carmax did. Still am out a few bucks but at least theyre letting me keep my rigid. Guess I can light up the night with my Polaris. Deal should go down this weekend. Thanks to all that replied.

Sell your truck to company for book value and drive that...

The truth is that in general almost any modification you do to your vehicle reduces its value from stock. Permanent mods are the worst, but bolt on's you can remove, sell, and return the vehicle to stock for the best sale price.
I've found its usually pretty easy to unload used parts online if you don't mind putting in the time to remove them.

I personally wouldn't buy a modded vehicle, reasons being
Abused, if mods were actually used,(ie:lifted truck)
Excuse for dealer to not warranty certain items
I recently moved to San Antonio from the east coast,it's unbelievable the huge lifted trucks that never leave the asphalt,..to ME...a huge lifted modded truck screams..HEY LOOK AT ME..
