Bryan replied, said they should be ready for sale the end of the week.

EDIT: He said that there are no options for short axle brackets.

Here is a copy and paste quote from Brian.

"The length and design of the rear bracket was originally chosen for the
Lightning / HD trucks for several reasons.
- when the bar is angled up towards the front of the truck it induces lift
which in turn helps to transfer weight to the rear quicker.
- the adjustment holes allow a guy to change the "instant center" of the truck
when tuning his chassis
- the longer the bracket the more control the bar has of the rearend's
movement

Keep in mind this set of bars was targeted for the 2x4 racing guys. If the 4x4
guys want a rear bracket that is only as low as the shock bracket we would do that, but it will sacrifice the instantaneous reaction of the bars. To the
drag guys that is a big thing (affects 60 foot times), not sure how the 4x4
guys feel about it. "

I will be sending him a link to this thread so hopefully he will join and be able to answer anybody's questions.

Even if the 4x4 crowd drag races ( which maybe on this site totals 10 guys) we can run in 4 hi. The instantaneous lift thing I don't see as a selling point to too many guys because most potential buyers don't know what it's for or care...

Most guys just don't want wheel hop... that's it.

Emailed Brian this week about me about ready to order a set and he said that he took y'all's advice and is going to be redesigning the rear bracket to make them shorter.( I sent him this link)

So as exciting as it was to finally get them ordered it's back on hold again till the redesign is finished.

I'll keep y'all up to date with info when I get it!

Wayne
