trac control icon
I have a 2009 4x4 and when I put it in 4x4 low the trac control icon comes on for 1 to 2 sec. then the 4x4 low icon comes on for 1 to 2 sec. then the trac control icon comes on again this just keeps repeating itself. Is this normal? Also when I run it through the car wash which has a underbody rinse the trac control icon comes on and I have to shut the engine then restart it for the icon to go away,this has happened twice now. The dealership said I should take it to a different car wash to see if it happens again.

I don't remember which forum it was on, but the undercarriage wash was messing with their vehicle also. I don't think it was the exact same issue as yours though. Maybe you can just not get the undercarriage wash? Or take it to one of those places where you can spray it yourself.

I know ALL the TCs are disabled in 4x4Lo so I dont think that is an issue, but the going through a car wash could be. Do like the dealer said and take it to a different car was or a manual was with a hose and try and trip the sensor.
