Toyo Open Country A\T II

From what I have read they redesigned the carcass sidewalls and and tread a bit. But an experience is an experience none the less. I have always believed most companies can make a decent tire but bad batches do happen. Also, some are better out of the gate in design than others but most is personal preference with looks. Most of the people can get away with a highway all season. I need an AT for about 120 days a year for some boat ramps up north, deer/bird season, and winter. Having a second set of tires isn't really an option for me.

TOYO are smart. Create competition between 2 brands...and Own BOTH. LOL
They get all the money then.
Next year there will be a new improved Terra from Nitto.
Not all dealers carry both brands, not up here anyway.
Go with the new TOYO AT II's. Newest Tech.
I am searching for some now, either the 285/55/20 or the 305/55/20. Low stock up here right now.
And pricing sucks too. We pay $440 EACH for a 305/55/20

I just went through this problem with the pirelli tires. Your ford warranty only covers up to 12,000 miles on the truck. Then the tire manufacturer takes over. My truck odomoter read 15,000 miles on it when i realized my tires were cracking on the sidewall. I run aftermarket wheels and tires during the summer. So, I only had about 5,000 miles on my pirelli's. Neither the dealer nor Pirelli cared about that. Fortunately my dealer totally backed me and got pirelli to pro rate my tires and get me which ever tires I wanted. Pirelli will reimburse me when they receive the tires. Just make sure you really push the issue with your dealer.

personal opinion? stay away from em. i had em on my ranger (different vehicle, i know) all they did was turn to a slick. they held in snow like you wouldnt believe and gave no traction at all. i used to slide around on wet pavement with them things.
i would try looking into some BFGs or Nittos. i hear alot of people talking about Goodyear Duratracs but i havent had the best of luck with Goodyear at all.
just for the heck of it, my dad had a set of Pirellies on his Excursion and they only lasted 30k miles. switched to BF Goodrich and hasnt looked back.
