I am irritated that the FX4 doesn't have homelink as an available option so I picked up a black rolling code unit on eBay for $30.00. My question is who, if anyone, has done this mod on an 09. If so please post some pics or direct me to the thread. I'd like to see how it was done as I am concerned about tearing into my visor. Perhaps I'll have the autostart/stereo shop I use do it as they are used to custom installs.

Its amazing that a FX4 screw with a sticker of 44k doesn't have homelink as an option. WOW!

You could get a replacement rearview mirror with the Homelink buttons integrated? Probably a little spendier but maybe not once you factor in the price of having someone install something...?

Thought of that but the replacement rearview doesn't have the mic for SYNC and bluetooth so that can't be done.

any idea where to get the mirror from? i have a 05 fx4 and it kills me to they dont have it?

could you not pick up a visor from Ford with the homelink integrated like the Lariats come with?

I checked into it awhile back and it is just not the visor, there is a homelink module that needs to be mounted somewhere also.

I would think it should be pretty much the same for a F150, I doubt Ford would make them that much differently...
