Default Tow Mirror Running Lights

Picked up a set of tow mirrors last night and I'm looking to add some running lights and possibly signals to it like alot of us have done on our standard mirrors. Just looking to see what anyone else has done, preferably without cutting/drilling. I'll post some pics later of what I'm looking at doing.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone?

Trying to decide whether to use the LED strips I got at first or to drill and put an LED light from a trailer on it...

Someone on here put a thread up about this. I cant remember what he did exactly but I do know its somewhere on here. Try searching tow mirror lights or something like that and I'm sure it will pop up.

I've looked at all the threads asking about it but noone has done it. I'm hoping to get mine done either this weekend or around Thanksgiving

Here is one of them. I know there are others. I'll see what I can dig up.

Thanks for the links!

Gonna go see what they'll look like with the strips then if they don't look good I'll use them elsewhere and get different lights

Well the LED strips look like crap on the mirror in any spot that would allow for the light to be seen. So I think I'm gonna order a pair of these:

Size: 3.2 KB

Just gotta decide whether to get the side or rear exit. The rear exit requires a 3/8" hole to be drilled but it's more secure that way. Decisions, decisions.

And then hook them up to this: (should be a video)

Edit: can't get the video to post, I'll fix it when I get a chance

To act as a running light and signal all in one. Got the wiring diagram from the forum here
