So it is a little off center, so you should have 2.5" of clearance on each side. Hope this helps.

I have the frontier extreme grillguard on my 2013 xlt. I previously had it on my 2010 fx4. goo grill guard. doesn't weigh a ton and very sturdy. really helped me when I had a girl pull out in front of me. did about 1700 bucks worth of damage including replacing the grill guard but the body shop said itd been closer to 5000 if I hadn't had it on there. might check it out.

Ranch hand makes a good grill guard.

Problem with all grill guards is they only guard against minor damage. Birds, rocks (in the right spot) bush, etc. They can also cause more damage in a wreck as they are not meant to take hits.

Well Darn!
After talking to most of the different grill guard people. they are telling me that with my extreme off road bushwacker flairs, that this will not fit my truck GRRRR!!! my flair stand off over 3" as my pictures show below. I really wanted one and still do. But I don't want to take my flairs off being I am running 20x12 -44 offset wheels I would never keep it clean. Any help from anyone, I would thank you a lot.

All of these brush guards boil down to the mounting brackets/bolts. Far too often I see brush guards do little to nothing when struck by deer or even a slow speed rear end; they just fall off...lol. Most of these units in the thread look fairly beefy and hopefully the mounting brackets are too.

mine doesn't wrap around into the sides so the flairs wouldn't be an issue. its a frontier xtreme grill guard.
