Tire and Wheel Questions Before Purchasing
Sorry Im beating a dead horse here, but a few questions on tires, wheels, and level. I have looked through hundred of pages on here about this topic but just looking for a few specific opinions directly related to what Im looking at doing before I spend thousand on accessories.
Truck is 2013 FX4 5.0L with 18" wheels, stock suspension, sterling metalic paint, and 30,000 miles.
Made my mind up on buying Bilstein 5100 front, but cannot decide on the 2.25 or 1.5 setting. Any opinions or comments on which setting you recommend?
Looking at 275/65R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s, price and 50,000 mile warranty are making me choose them over KO2s. Any comments good or bad abouts the G2s?
Looking at 20x9 American Racing AR708 offset options of of +0 and +20. Thinking +0 would put the tires at close to flush with FX4 fenders, am I correct? Is there any comments on the AR708s good or bad? Thoughs on +0 vs +20 offset.
Thank you in advance for any feedback!!
Also pictured is the truck at dealer, only thing I did since (2 weeks) install low pro tonneau cover and removed FX4 stickers.

Nice truck OP, sounds like you have some good mods picked out!
The Nittos are great tires. I have a buddy at work with a leveled Ram 1500 who got 50k+ out of the original Grapplers. He said they did great on wet roads, snow, and even a little mud. The G2s are supposed to be even better than the originals.
You will probably like them if thats what you decide on.
Cant wait to see finished pics!

Does your truck have a lift on it or is it leveled out because I was thinking about going to all terrains once my mud grapplers wear down which mines is leveled with 295/55/20 or 33x12.50x20

Ok so your tires are 10mm wider and taller then I'm getting and with a +20 offset (same as yours) I'll be around .4" narrower or .2" less out past fender and I have the factory FX4 flares so it should be perfect and the +0 would be too far out. If I'm thinking of this correct.
Now to just decide on the 2.25" or 1.5" setting on the 5100s. I would like to fit the tires and wheels nicely, but have some rack for trailering or hauling, definitely not nose high. If I go 2.25" and its nose high I could put a larger block in the rear with Bilsteins in rear also, but didn't want to if not needed. Currently from ground to front fender is 37" and rear is 39.125" so a true 2" level would be very close to level or looking nose high.
Is there any Picts with just Bilsteins front at 2.25" and 34" tall tires?
Thank you!
