Thanks for your reply, im putting my leveling kit on tonight and tires are sitting at discount ready to be put on, just got my fingers crossed hoping they fit fine! I've seen 3 09+ running these on stock wheels and they are all FX4, so hopefully there isn't much of a difference! I'll post some pics up soon if it all works out

With a 2.5 level kit they will rub... You have to go to at least a 4 inch kit for no rubbing.... Step down to 295/70R18 and you will not rub when flat and level with 2.5 kit. That size tire just clears no cutting or trimming it is 34.3 or so inch tire.. It does rub however when you are turning and going over bumps in and out of driveways etc...

I have a 09 F150 Flareside Reg Cab 2wd. Has anyone put the bilstein 4wd shocks on a 2wd here? I saw one on another site and he had some extreme angles. I was wondering if anyone here has done this and if so any issues? Also I would like to keep some rake but add as much clearance as possible. What size rear block would yall recommend to run 20x8.5 Rockstars on 33x12.5 Trail Grapplers?
Also recommended BS/offset for this setup.
Thanks.

How bad did the lift and tires effect your MPG?

Ok, I was just curious. I was thinking of leveling my 09 4x4 and putting bigger tired and was wondering how bad it would effect my MPG. Keep me posted if you don't mind.

MPG is effected by so many factors it is hard to say that a lift and tires really effect it as much as how you drive it. The larger tires he installed directly effect the speedometer by 7% so he will think right off that he lost about 10% fuel mileage, I have the same size tires. I think I lost realistically about 1 or 2 MPG at the most but can make up for it by driving with less of a lead foot. At about 65 MPH or so this truck becomes a brick and really drops off teh fuel mileage, so keep it around 65 if MPG really means that much. I think if it really means that much we would not drive these trucks to start with....

MPG doesn't mean that much I was just curious. I'm trying to gather as much info as possible before I make a decision. Does installing the leveling kit have any long term effects on the suspension of the truck? I have heard in other makes and models that leveling kits can mess up the shocks.
