So I've dug through as many of the 500+ pages as I could but can't quite find what I need. I have a 2014 FX4 with the stock 20" black rims. At some point I want to do a coil over conversion but since the lottery commission will not cooperate with me I can't swing the $1800 for the suspension components I want and the $1000 for the tires at the same time. So what I'm looking for is a tire that will fit on the stock set up but still look good with the new suspension when the funds replenish. I've seen that some of the tires that are on our trucks may say they are the same size but run larger and may or may not fit.

These are what I'm looking at:
Nitto Ridge Grappler All-Terrain LT295/60R20 or LT275/65R20
BFG KO2 275/60r20
Cooper Discoverer STT Pro All-Terrain LT275/65R20 or LT295/55R20

I do mostly roads and highway with a little off road. Any help and input is welcome.

I just put Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's on my truck, it isn't FX4 but it has the off-road package which I have heard gives about the same amount of room as the FX4. 275/65/20. The Cooper specs say they are 34.5 but once mounted and balanced and aired up to suggested amount, they sit about 33.8. I changed the wheels to a +20 offset, but I have heard many people on here using the stock wheels and no issues, just minor plastic trimming. I had no rubbing, trimming, or any problems.

A couple things you need to keep in mind though: Do you have a level? If so, what size? A lift? Or are you running stock?

And more importantly, if you are looking for an all-terrain tire like you mentioned, the STT Pro is absolutely not an all-terrain tire. The treads are deep and far apart. It is much more of a Mud Terrain than All Terrain. That being said, it is a fantastic tire for the price, and has other advantages over other mud tires such as weight, road noise, etc.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I don't have a level yet but will as soon as the funds catch up with the vision, LOL. As great as those Coopers look I think that based on what you said, the amount of highway driving I do a tire closer to a mud tire might not be the best idea.

Default TDM NEED Tire size help

Sorry but no time for searching, between my Firearms business, trade shows, my machine company and the consultant work, I have very little time.

I have a 2010 screw 4x4 5.4 5.5' bed 17" rims.

Looking for the largest tires size (not in inches) for BF Goodrifch AT with the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks, and yes I will be doing 5100 in the rear.

Default Alot of info...

I've read through alot of the pages, but still had couple questions.
I have a 2009 xlt supercre 4x4 and im wanting to level it, will 2 inch be enough for the front or do i need 2.5? Also, would i need anything for back? i dont haul anything heavy (mostly deer).
I have stock 18 rims with tires 275/65/18 , after the level will 275/70/18s be fine? should put me at 33 inch tires but will those tires still work on stock rims?
Thanks for any help!
