Default TIres for 13' Platinum

I've got a 2013 Platinum ecoB and am looking to replace the original tires. Looking for something slightly more aggressive looking without being too harsh on the freeway ride or mileage. truth be told I maybe go to Tahoe a bit, but not really doing much if any off road - it's more for looks. I have 20 inch OEM rim and want to keep them for now. Can I go from 275/55/20 to 275/60/20 without any leveling or lift? What is the drawback from doing that if any?

Been lookin at the BFG KO2 and keeping an eye on the Hankock DynaPro ATM RF10. Curious if anyone is runnin the Hankocks what your thoughts are? Consumer reports did give them a top rating for what thats worth?

Thanks

You should be fine with that size. It's only an inch taller and with stock rims it'll work. People run 33's without leveling. You might notice a slight reduction in acceleration but the ecoboost has plenty to spare.

Don't know about the Hancock's

all I saw in going from those sizes was a gas increase of 0.4L/100km. Doesn't feel any different performance wise. And I'm sure the gas could also be related to going from the boring Pirelli's to the much more aggressive duratracs.

Either way id say go for it, I'm confident you won't regret it.

Just ordered my KO2s. 4wheelparts had them for $225 a piece and an extra $50 off if you bought 4. Plus free shipping! Couldn't pass up that deal.

I did have to pay $50 for mount and balance on my wheels that I also bought, but no tax

Well I checked your size on their site and yours would be $285 a piece and then the extra $50 off. So you could see if they'd price match that.
