you will be fine with 35s with 3.31 esp if you have an ecoboost.
If you are towing, it will be a little sluggish at the start, then all good after that. Still quick!!!

I just pulled a 31 ft boat out of the water with mine, and I am more than happy with the way my truck performed.

Still havent had a chance to run my tunes, but that will help alot if you are worried about a slight power loss.

So it is possible to go with 22's wraped with a 305/45/22 tire and not rub at all with a 2/4 drop on a 2014 FX2.

I have 2013 XLT with chrome package. So it has 275/65 R18 on it.

I am buying some Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2's for winter. The price drop in 18" to 17" is $40 per tire at Discount Tire. It is $214 per wheel in 17" and $257 per tire in 18". Obviously wheels are similar with price difference. I want to have a complete set of wheels and tires for winter and summer so I don't put unneeded stress on the tires switching them.

The 17" tires are 265/65r17
The 18" tires are 275/65r18

The 17" wheels will be 17x8.50
The 18" wheels will be 18x8.50

My question is, does anything need to be changed on the truck going from the 18" to 17" tires/wheels??? If i can save a little cash I wouldn't mind going to 17, may not look as good but I heard having smaller wheels for winter can be better.... but will I lose any ground clearance with the 17's?

I'm new with this stuff so if you need more info let me know.

Also any recommendations of wheels to use that are a good price and will fit well, I would appreciate the input (prefer wheels with some black and chrome). I'm not opposed to buying the wheels and tires elsewhere and paying to have them put on if it still comes out better cash wise.

Thoughts? thanks guys

Just installed BF Goodrich KO2 285/65/20 on stock FX4 wheels. 2" Ready Lift up front and a set of super springs in the back. Very pleased with the look and ride/comfort with these new tires

2010 XLT with 2" ReadyLift levelers in the front. My 2 sons bought a set of 2011 17"x8.5" Raptor wheels that had the clear coat starting to peal, so they had them stripped then painted and sealed in Hyper Silver and surprised me with them as an early birthday gift. Tires are 285-70/17 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2s. I just put it all together this past weekend and am very pleased with the outcome.

Anyone running the BFG KO2's in the 34/10.5 /17 size? I'm wondering if they'll look ok being that narrow. Really wish they had a 285/75/17 in those like they do for the MT's
