Want to run my upsizing plan thru the collective wisdom on this thread. I have 12 STX reg cab 4WD 3.7L. Stock wheels 17x7.5, tires Hanook P235/75R17. Got FX appearance pack black 20x8.5 wheels & will be putting on Goodyear P275/55/R20. Since its all Ford F150 OE should be no rub & tires in the fender even without lift or level. Will need to get the speedometer reset. Have I figured this correctly & am I missing something? Also how do you think it will affect ride & mpg?

It should fit fine. Your speedo should only be off 2.3mph at 70 (http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-calculator/), and you may lose a little MPG due to the heavier weight of the wheel/tire combo you are using (probably not too much, 1-2mpg, but that's just a guess). Ride will be fine.

Default Will it fit or not?

ok ive had so many people tell me different things and I need to order these tires by Monday. With a 2/4 drop on a 14 FX2 will 305/45/22 tires rub the wheel well when turning?

Hello all, first post.

First thanks to you all for posting so much great information. I have been lurking for a while and getting ready to put new wheels, tires and level kit on my truck this weekend.

I pieced together the following combination based on what I read here and would appreciate comments on fit or rubbing.

Current set up:

Vehicle: 2010 FX4 Super Crew 5.2L
Wheels: stock 20"
Tires: BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain 275/60/20 (33ish tire)
Front: No leveler- stock config
Rear: No lift- stock config
Comments: No rubbing, plenty of clearance

Proposed Set Up:

Vehicle: 2010 FX4 Super Crew 5.2L
Wheels: MB 352 Black 20"
Tires: BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2 275/65/20 (34" tire ?)
Front Leveler: Blisten Adjustable Shocks w/ 2" Leveler
Rear lift: None

Question 1: Any thoughts on rubbing, fit or combination of selections?

Question 2: I have the option of going with the Nitto Trail Grabber G2 275/65/20 instead of the new KO2 but leaning toward the KO2, there new tread pattern below look a little more aggresive. Thoughts?

KO2

Nitto G2

Thanks in advance.

anyone running 33" with a 3.31 gear ratio?
I would like to upgrade tires from 275/55/20 to something more beefy

I going to put a 2.5" or 3" level in the front and airbags in the back for when I am towing to avoid sagging?
Any advice?
I tow a 6500lb travel trailer in Florida
I to want avoid a lot of loss power and loud road noise
