Could have gone bigger but there is no rubbing, didn't kill my gas mileage and I think they look pretty good.

Looks very nice less that backwards **** flag you have on the front.

troylee, you didn't take the bait and swam right on past. Even in Washington state that Louisiana blood runs deep as I happen to have one of those backwards **** flags as well.

Only 3X5 and hanging in my garage.

Haha. I use to be quicker to bite when baited like that but learned better over the years. If some one is apposed to the Flag of the Confederate States then it's like beating my head against a wall to convince them otherwise so I just take the high road. It's all good bud. I had the black white and gray plate special ordered a few years ago. Turned out pretty nice. :-)

With 325/60-20 tires on a 2013 FX4 my speedo is only off by about 4 mph at 65mph. Is there a way the dealer can adjust for that, or are they too big?

I know a tuner will do it, I have done that with a 2000 Mustang when I put 3.73 gears in. I am chicken to do a tuner and have warranty problems.

thanks

Hypertech sells a Speedo Calibrator that is not a tuner/programmer

thanks, but what I read about that is that it reflashes the computer which is the same thing a tune does. Wouldn't ford service see that as a reflash or suspect aftermarket tune? If put back to stock it probably has the p1000 code.

To actually change your tire size you can't have any present codes. I used a Hypertech 742501 on my 2 month old Lariat on Sunday and now I am back to the correct speed for my BFG LT285/65/R20's. No P1000 or any code after the recalibration. I was also freaked out about my warranty and also pissed that my NAV was now way off due to the tire size difference. I also didn't know has fast I was driving down the road. State law requires your speed of your vehicle to be correct. Ford nor the State can dictate which tires you use or the size. Guess Ford didn't read State law or my personal policy. "My truck will function properly to my liking or standard, page 2 paragraph 1".

Anyway, I picked up my Hypertech NIB on EBAY for a total of $118.00 shipped. Have NEVER seen any that low of a price, period. Normal best is usually $180.00 on EBAY and online average $229.00 with some clowns selling them higher.

Thinking about going with a 1.5" level and a 285/70/17.
Any opinions?
just looking to fill the wheel well a little more.
thanks

maybe at Michelin LTX® M/S2 or a LTX® A/T2

I put 42 PSI in my tires today.....up from the 35 Belle Tire put in there. Big difference in mileage (17 mpg)! I was at 14.5 at 35 psi. Tires are E rated so the 42 may actually still be low. Will try it, but lesson learned.
