i see most run with a level, but something that is confusing me is people have ran 305/55/20 stock apparently with no level as per the pdf guide in the beginning of this thread without issues. 295/70/17 calculates to 33.3x11.6x17 and the 305/55/20 calculates to 33.2x12x20.

thanks in advance.
I went and had these test fitted and then installed after we found out they cleared with no rubbing.

Quick question from a newbie: I roll around with a 2009 F150 XL Reg cab. I need to replace all 4 tires so I figured I'd upgrade. I have a 2" leveling lift on it. My current tires are 235/70R17. I want to upgrade to 285/70R17's...will this fit on my stock rims? I know they'll fit the truck, just curious if if should go with those or go for something like 275/60R17. Any advice is appreciated...

Has everyone with bigger tires had the truck reprogrammed? My dealer wants 90 freakin bucks to do it. It can't be that time consuming to charge me a whole hr. It literally took me 5 min to do on my last truck with a flashpaq.!

My dealer charged me a 1/2 hour to do it, something like $46. It was worth it to me but a full hour is too much IMO. I wouldn't have worried about it with a smaller tire but I went up nearly 3 inches in tire size.

That sounds way more reasonable. Ill call other dealers to see if I can find a deal

I've read through a ton of pages here on this thread and didn't find what I was looking for. Has anyone else put 35 X 12.5 X 18 on the stock rims? Secondly, I have Rancho Quicklift loadeds on the front and 9000XLs on the back - assuming I could put these tires on stock rims - anyone have experience with any rubbing? Looking at Toyo MTs or Nitto Trails.

Hey guys,

I'm new to this thread and wanted to get some info on tire sizes. I have a 2013 F-150 4X4 that I am going to put a 2" AS leveling kit on. I am wanting to put 305/65/18 tires on 18X9 Raceline Raptors. The specs on the rims are +25mm offset & 6" backspacing. Will these fit without rubbing and if so will my tires stick out of the fenders?
Thanks for the help!

I dont think the stock 18s will work bud. I put on 35x12.5 wrangler mtrs on and i had to get after market wheels. I didnt need alot of back spacing but i need a couple inches more. If you have an opportunity to check it out with a wheel spacer i would. Might work out.
