With the 305/50/20 tires you probably wouldn't want to raise the front. Just not enough tire. I have a white fx4 with same size tire on a 20x9.5 with 35 offset. Looks perfect. I actually lowered the rear to level.

A 305/50r20 tire is 32.00 inches in diameter and the stock 275/55r20 is 31.90 inches in diameter!

I believe the section width for the 305 is 12.00 in and the stock wheel is 11.82 in

That means you are going to change the height by one tenth of an inch and the width by almost two tenths! That in reality is pretty much no change at all!

Seems like a big waste of money to
Put basically the same size tire on your truck that you already have!

Someone correct me if I am wrong please!

Also I am pretty sure that the terra grapplers only come in a 305/55r20 in fact I don't even think anybody makes a 305/50r20

Again someone please correct me if my info is faulted

The 305/50 is listed on their website. I'm not really looking to squeeze the absolute biggest tire I can. I realize it's only slightly larger, but the look would be much improved imo. May consider 305/55 but again not looking for the absolute biggest tire I can fit.

My question is really directed toward the wheel offset. I don't want to get the wheels if +30mm is going to cause any issues. I listed the other things for someone to know the whole setup.

Can you post a pic? I've actually thought of lowering the back instead of lifting the front. Just haven't seen it done.

Thanks

I'm actually trying to figure out how big I can go on my truck with the 4" rancho lift? The factory wheels are a +44 and if yours are a +30 I don't think you will have my problems
Running a 305/50 or 305/55 but I am
By no means an expert! Still learning myself! I your worried about it then a
Fit check would be best. Most tire shops
Will order a tire and test fit it if your going to buy from them. If it doesn't work they will order you another one

Default Here are my wheels and rims

They are XD Series Spy's 20x8.5 with +18 offset. Nitto Trail Grappler 295/60 R20 Tires. BDS 2.5" leveling in front with 1" block in the rear. Had to trim air damn and just the inside of the fender flare at the back of the wheel well. No rubbing unless turned and real large potholes.

Ok I just bought a '12 xlt 2wd screw. Wanting to put the 18x9 xd rockstars with 275/65/18 terra grapplers on the truck. Can I run this combo without a leveling kit. Been searching all day and still haven't found a definite answer. Any info will be appreciated.

2wd or 4wd? From my own research on 4x4's, I have seen people go with 35" toyo MT's with a level kit. More than a lot also go with 34" tires of other brands. Given that, the 33" will fit fine if it is 4x4.
