There was a little rubbing in the front when at full lock but nothing that about 20 min of work couldent fix.
What ya think?
Buying the same Vtec 17x8.5 wheels. Do you think it will rub if I bought a 265/70 R17 Kooks Dynapro ATM RF10 tires without leveling kits and +25 offset? Should I go with 0 offset instead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've got some Victory Bristole Rims 18 x 9 that I plan on putting on that are VERY similar. Still trying to figure out the correct size to put on with the Bilstein 5100's and 1.25" rear blocks. I can't seem to find any tire shops in the local or even near local area that will mount any tires to check for fitment before I drive off with them paid for. I have the 2wd 2010 SCREW and want the tallest tire, but with all these posts, it's almost impossible for me to decide the size. I'm really thinking about a 275/70/18 or 265/75/18. I also love the look of the BFG Rugged Terrain, but can't seem to find any reviews of them.

I'm looking to do a set of Fuel Octane's in 18x9 on a 2011 FX4 EcoBoost SCREW and from what I've been able to gather, I think you would be safe going with these sizes, on a TOYO tire specifically:

http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/op...-terrain-tires

Tire Size Product Code Approved Rim Width Range (inch) Overall Diameter (inch) Overall Width (inch) Tread Depth (1/32") Tire Weight (lbs.)

LT285/70R18 127/124Q E/10 (34X11.50R18) 360590 7.5-8.5-9.5 34.1 11.4 19 69.5
LT285/75R18 129P E/10 (35X11.5R18) 360420 7.5-8.0-9.5 35.1 11.6 19 70.6

Now keep in mind that the sizes people are throwing around on this board are not equal and a rule of thumb across all tires. Each manufacturer will vary and some pretty significantly. Tire width seems to be the main thing of concern when it comes to the rubbing. If you get a leveling kit, those 2 tire sizes above should work just fine and give you the beefiest tire you can get without a full blown lift kit.

Take all this with a grain of salt of course (especially since I've been researching FX4's and not 2WD models), I'm no expert but I've been studying this stuff for months on end getting everything just right and ready for when I order my truck. God hoping and willing, I might actually pull the trigger tomorrow.

Default Will these rub with stock 18 inch rims

If you can get your tire shop to work woth you test fit the wheels and one tire before you buy... I also have a 2 inch level kit and I know these tires will rub without one....
I have 2011 fx4 with 2.5 as level kit and 3 inch rear blocks. I am about to buy the 295/70r18 nitto trail grapples. Do you think they will rub on stock rims.

I am close to factory wheels which I am pretty sure are +44mm offset so you should be fine... It will rub at times when you turn hard in to bumps, however it is minor and nothing but plastic rubs inside fender well... Flat smooth surface you should have no rub, however if possible mount one and test fit prior to mounting all 4 to see if you can live with it......

In your discription also note, 360590, 360420... These two number are very important... the last 3 digits tell you expected tire wear.. 590 vs 420 this varies greatly and is important as 590 wear is about 35,000 miles and 420 will get you about 20,000 miles of tire life... So when you figure cost think tire replacemnt too, how far will these get me... Also tire sizes dont really vary 245mm is always 245mm however where you measure it can vary some from each company. So check how its measured and see that you compare apples to apples...

Kungfu33, your truck looks great. Did you use a level kit and if so which one?
