Default Dealerships going above & beyond!

As some you know my eco-boost F150 is at the dealership which is the dealer closest to me, not the one I bought it from waiting on a new CAC replacement in order to fix the shutter loss of power issue when accelerating and humid weather conditions and they've put me in a rental car and having ford send one on out as soon as one comes available for me! The salesman I actually bought the truck from at another dealership further from my home wrote me a email today making sure everything was going well with my F150 I told him what was happening he's having his service manager check and see if they can swap parts from a new 2013 F1 50 and have that vehicle be the one waiting on the parts and not my truck! I will find out Monday what they decide! I will let you all know, but to me that is very good service I hope all the rest of you have the same experience with your dealerships if you have this problem!

Glad to hear but I doubt they would actually due that due to the warranty factors on the other vehicle. There just trying to keep you happy while you wait, and it seems to have worked. Let us know, if they do that would be incredible for sure.

I've seen them do that for less important stuff now a days. And more important stuff back in the day. The tranny went out on our 2001 F350 and they actually took one out of a new one for us. It was the 6 speed and such a rare failure there were none around. They couldn't even get one off the line, being a bread winner work truck they did that swap for us. It's why I still buy there today, even though they have a less than stellar review now a days.

The update for intercooler on 2011/12 trucks is not the same intercooler that trucks built after September 2012 have. So robbing pars off of a 2013 wouldn't work for the op
