Default Tire Pressure

Yo,

I recently put on some new wheels and tires on my 2010 F-150 SCREW.

I put some 295 70 17 Nitto Grapplers on and a 2 inch front leveling kit.

The tire store set them to 35 PSI and driving it around it got very bad MPG.

I put them at 40 PSI cold and gained back 2MPG.

My questions is what pressures are you guys running?

Whats the highest I could get away with without causing premature wear on the tires?

I was thinking of 45 PSI cold.

Thanks

My 2010 FX4 came with the LT tires and the door sticker says 40 psi. I think you're on the right track. At 45 you may need a kidney belt.
