Interstate or Motorcraft. Don't throw your money away on Optima.

that's bizarre. Interstate has an incredibly good reputation and loyal customer base and my family and I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

Went with the diehard platinum. I like the warranty and the price was good for me. Thank you for everyone's help. I like the 960 ccas.

Costco. Never an issue with warranty. They always give you money back without argument.

I realize the OP went with a Diehard, but since batteries are something everyone eventually gets around to replacing, I thought I'd pass this along. For anyone who lives in an area with Advance Auto Parts, they usually have coupon codes (just do a search online) that will give 30% off, $40 off $125, etc. Their batteries, I believe, are made by Johnson Controls, and if you buy online and use these codes, their prices are hard to beat.

For example: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/a...15000|L3*15597

With the coupon it would put this battery around $100 for 850 cca and a 3 year replacement warranty.

They have their own brand of AGM battery http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/a...15000|L3*15597

With the coupon it puts this at a price point around normal flooded batteries.

That's a Johnson Controls AGM in the picture.
