Ticking sound while at idle

No, nice video but it's more of an electrical crackling sound. It could be the injectors but I am gonna have the dealership listen to it

WOW-I take back what I said. That is too loud. You shouldn't be able to hear it in the cab. And even with the windows down it should be faint. Yeah go get another opinion. I just know that ticking is normal with these engines, but that is way too loud if you can hear it in the cab with windows up.

i have same ticking noise, that only started more after they replaced the torque converter and rebuild my transmission at 34,000 miles now since it was in shop i have put on 4k and it still ticks, louder under 40 miles a hour and can here with windows up/down all the time you are on gas it is ticking i though it might be from the winter now it is warm here in buffalo and still ticking just as loud

i want it fixed not cause its hurting the motor but the sound is driving me nuts any help please would be really helpful

A muffler place said mine was just a metal strap on the exhuast maifild that was broken and hanging.

I think my catalytic converter needs to be “wrapped”. I think that is the culprit of my tick sound creating a rattle. Very noticeable at drive through windows.
