I'm picking up a set of 275/70r18 BFG ATs this week. The tire specs says the widest rim to run is 8.5". Can I eventually run some 18X9 rims without any issues? II have seen some trucks on here with this size tire with 18X9 wheels. If anyone has this size tire and stock or aftermarket rims will you please post some pictures.

I have them! And I've used this set up for right around 3 years without issue.

The rim width range has some wiggle room but I would never get more than 1" out of range. The tire just won't sit properly on the road.

Quick question...I have a 2013 FX4 supr crew with the six spoke 20 inch wheels...

Are they 20 x 9 or 20 x 8? or 8.5??????
I can't seem to find info anywhere.

Also...the 18 inch wheels on the FX4...what are their width????

The stock 18" FX4 wheels are 18X7.5" not sure about the 20s.

Another question, how far off will my speedometer be off by going up one size the the 275/70r18s.
