Thinking about getting a Tremor, anything I need to look for??

I'm with Masitile, I'm more comfortable in a truck.
I don't even like sitting in cars anymore in my old age.
A tuned Tremor is kind of like a hot rod and a pickup all in one. It's more of a straight line hot rod than it is a corner carver. I'm good with that, I don't care to do any road course racing.
However I still do own a car...my Grand National. I only take it out a few times a year and flog the crap out of it. After about 1 hour my back is done and I want out. But it is fun and will put a whooping on most Mustangs I come across.
I can drive my Tremor all day long and not get uncomfortable.

I completely understand what you are all saying about a Mustang. I love getting behind a 5.0 with a 6-speed manual. Makes me drool thinking about it. I had a Trans Am in the early 2000's and I miss shifting gears. The problem with the Mustang is that everyone and their mom has one. I see them daily whereas I've only see a couple Tremors in all my travels. I saw one recently that was a FX4 all dirty and being treated like any other truck. Mine would be a summer only toy.
I might possibly purchase a car from my neighbor this year that would be very cheap and would solve my want for a manual transmission. I could drive it when I need to shift and the Tremor when I want to sit higher and go fast.
There's a guy in the forum with a red Tremor that is lowered on 22's. I've drooled many times over the pictures.

OMG that is one beautiful truck you have right there... DROOLS.....
I love the look of these trucks in a regular cab, but it's just not practical for me... i need room for junk... but I see this and it makes me really want to reconcider..... man that's nice
would it be possible to bolt a mustang manual tranny to the F150 5.0L ???

If you go Tremor, look for a bottle of lube cause you're going to get bent over when you write that check! Lol jk.
You just need to weigh your personal pros and cons of each and make a decision based on those lists.
They are fun trucks but if you're not going to haul stuff ever, Mustang is the way to go, it'll give you the best performance to money spent ratio. If you just want to go fast, a 5,000lb truck with understeer and poor handling isn't the most optimal choice. Then again I also hate sitting in cars. If you do too, go tremor and put a rear sway bar on it and lower the rear with drop shackles at least. If you already have a truck, go mustang. Its a personal decision only you can make.

Quite a few of them sat on the lots for a while before they realized they weren't going to sell unless they discounted them. Mine sat at Rowe Ford for 9.5 months. I had been watching it for 5 months and finally the price was right. There isn't a huge market for RCSB's, most people need family haulers.

He let me drive it about 200 yds up and then 200 yards right back.
That was my first experience with a turbo engine. When I laid into the throttle at around 50 and it started silently kicking out sideways, it was like nothing I've ever experienced... Nothing yet has raised my heart rate as fast as that car did.
Just a beautiful car as well for it's day. You could look at it for hours. It wasn't as beautiful as a 69 or 70 muscle car, really not even being a muscle car in the true sense of the word, but nice to look at, nonetheless.

It's strange, I didn't really give them much thought a year ago. Now I really dig them.
Maybe because they are a rare animal...idk.

They were expensive at first because Ford thought because Tremors were rare (606) that they could sell them for close to MSRP. So some people that bought them right off may have got bent over.

I saw a recent posting by a dealer with a brand new one. Wanted original MSRP.
